How to Find the Perfect Fit for Your Furry Friend!
Want your pup to be comfortable and stylish in their new collar? Here's an easy guide to measuring their neck for the perfect fit:
-
Get your dog comfy: Have them stand relaxed, preferably not squirming around.
-
Wrap the measuring tape: Find the middle of their neck (about halfway between their head and shoulders). Gently wrap the tape around their neck, snug but not tight enough to squeeze. Leave room for two fingers to fit comfortably between the tape and their neck.
-
Location matters: Measuring closer to the head will make the collar too small, and closer to the body will make it too big. Aim for the middle!
-
No tape? No problem! Use a string or yarn instead. Wrap it as described above, mark the spot where it meets, then lay it flat next to a ruler for the exact measurement.
-
Sizing up: If for example your dog’s neck is at 15 inches , this means the first hole of the collar will be at 15 inches.
Tip: Check the size chart provided to confirm the sizing.
Happy shopping and remember, a well-fitting collar keeps your pup happy and healthy!
